ANODIZING I & II

Why Anodize?
High corrosion resistance - Insulator - Non-Conductive
Resistant to Stains - Durability

Type II Anodizing - Conventional Sulfuric Acid Anodizing
Type II or conventional sulfuric acid anodizing at C.I.L., uses and ambient electrolytic solution of sulfuric acid at 10-20 asf. Manual sulfuric acid anodizing line with five foot tanks and 8 foot Hoist line Tanks.

This line is Aerospace Approved and NADCAP Certified.

Type I Anodizing - Chromic Acid Anodizing
Chromic acid anodizing is intended to meet aerospace certifications. Operating parameters have a narrow window in order to meet all the aerospace specifications. This process features a sealer, a special rinsing and sealing process, BAC 5019, specific to Boeing. C.I.L. is one of few anodizers in Massachusetts, approved to meet the specification for this sealer.

Hoist with 8 foot tanks. Multiple Dye Colors, Nickel Acetate Seal, Sodium Dichromate Seal, Hot DI Water (Clear) Seal, Dilute Chromate Seal. Teflon PTFE Seal, Chromic Acid Seal

Prototype - Production Runs - Critical Tolerances
